Bobby's Blog Post 2

 In the past week I have been working a lot on flyers around the building specifically I have been working a lot of pickleball promotions as well as promoting our haunted house. The haunted house was very fun to work on. Anyone could show up to the building and the haunted house was free. It took a lot of time and effort to get everything set up. A TON of promotion had to happen, we did lots of meetings on it as well which I found very interesting since I'm still very knew to the dynamics of sitting down and being in meetings. I personally feel like I have learned a lot so far and I am starting to feel a lot more comfortable in the workplace. 

Somethings that I really enjoy is how open everyone is to my ideas. At first I was scared given that I am the youngest person on the marketing team and I thought I might be looked down on. But it was the complete opposite, people have been super supportive and very kind and everyone has been very open to my ideas. I have been doing a lot not so much social media based like I spoke about in last weeks blog post but more in building promotional work to try and get members engaged to new activities for example our yoga area we are trying to figure out ways to promote that. Hopefully me and the others can figure out ways to get members to understand more then just the gym area but make them engaged in other aspects of the gym. We recently promoted the childcare area and I made a flyer about that that we hung up inside of the building. Members can drop off their children there and go workout. We hope that more people can utilize this and hopefully it can bring more members through the door once we promote this more. I have been having a lot of fun and I've been learning so much in such a short amount of time. I really look forwards to writing my next blog post and ill talk to you all next week!

Bobby's Blog 11/16/25

 This week was a bit shorter of a week due to the holiday so this may be a bit of a shorter blog post. This week on Thursday me and my boss Pat worked on a video for our week of giving. The goal of this video is to help to strengthen our community and provide gifts for those in need.  https://www.instagram.com/p/DRA1PQWCSdY  . Me and Pat created a script thinking about what sounds good and how to talk to make the video appealing and easy to watch. After we came up with the script we filmed the video using our iphones. It took awhile and many failed script attempts but we managed to film the video in about 15 minutes. We downloaded the video and then I got to editing. First I decided what transitions to use when I make videos I use a notepad top create a general layout of what I want it to look like.
